Thanks for coming to check out the site. Not unlike The Wedgewoods
themselves, the website has been dormant for a while. Yes, we haven't
played a show or even rehearsed since December 11, but for good reason.
The Wedgewoods are proud to announce three new members:

On December 28, Sophie Lyons came into the world (beautiful daughter of our bass player)

On February 15, Benjamin Crowe made his debut (beautiful son to myself)

and....

On March 11, Veronica Keeler was born (beautiful daughter to our sax player)

So, needless to say, we needed some time away from our band to discover
the first aspects of fatherhood....and what a ride it has been! The time
off has been rewarding as we have all been looking forward to becoming new
fathers and welcoming these lives into our newly formed families. We hold
baby races every Sunday at 2p.m. at Assiniboia Park. Feel free to come
check it out and cheer on your favourite "Wedgie". Just in case you were
wondering, the scores look like this:

Veronica - 4 victories
Sophie - 3 victories
Ben - 3 victories

During the time off, we have also been writing new material and searching
out some future gigs including a little mini-tour out west this summer.
We look forward to see you at the shows. Come up, say 'hi' and we'll
collectively show of our baby photos.
